Gutter cleaning and brightening

Two different jobs that people often want at once.

Gutter cleaning is the inside — pulling out leaves, pine straw, shingle grit and whatever else has packed into the trough, and checking that the downspouts actually run.

Gutter brightening is the outside — those vertical black stripes on the front face of the gutter, sometimes called tiger stripes. They're bonded on and a normal house wash won't touch them. Brightening uses a specific cleaner and hand work to bring the face back.

Gutters are priced separately from a roof or house wash, by linear foot. If you're getting the house washed, this is the easiest time to add it.

Soft washing

Soft washing isn't a separate service so much as the method we use on anything delicate: roofs, siding, soffits, screens, painted trim, shutters and awnings. Low pressure, appropriate cleaning solution, thorough rinse. If a surface can't take a pressure washer, this is how it gets clean. There's more detail on the pressure washing page.

Fences, decks and the odd jobs

Wood and vinyl fences, deck surfaces and railings, patios and porches. If it's outside and it's dirty, ask — the worst we'll say is that it's not something we take on. Solar panels are the one thing we'll point you elsewhere for.

Not sure what you need?

Send a photo. Genuinely — that's the fastest way to get an answer, and it works for anything on this page.

Common questions

Can I bundle several services in one visit?

That's how most of our jobs go — roof, house and driveway together. One trip is cheaper than three.

Do you clean gutters and the roof at the same time?

Yes, and there's a good reason to: a roof wash sends dead growth into the gutters, so cleaning them out afterward finishes the job properly.

Do you clean fences, decks and patios?

Yes. Wood and vinyl fences, decks, patios, porches and pool decks — each gets the pressure and solution the surface can handle.

Do you clean solar panels?

No. That's specialist work and we'd rather point you to someone who does it all day than guess at it.

Are gutters included with a roof or house wash?

They're priced separately, by linear foot. Most people add them on because a roof wash pushes dead growth into the gutters anyway.

Do you take on commercial properties?

We're primarily residential, but smaller commercial work is fine. Call and describe the property.

How do I get a quote?

Call or text (864) 764-0737 with your name, address, what you'd like cleaned and a few photos. That's usually everything we need.
